Discover the art of origami in this hands-on workshop.
The session will begin with a short introduction to origami, including a showcase of some inspiring creations. Using a live camera feed projected onto large screens, you will be able to clearly follow each fold as the techniques are demonstrated step by step.
Participants will then have the opportunity to try origami for yourself in a guided session, creating your own paper models to take home. The workshop will also explore the sustainable side of origami, including the use of recycled materials such as junk mail, waste paper, and other everyday paper that might otherwise be thrown away.
This is the ideal event for those interested in creative recycling, or looking to learn a new skill. Spaces are limited so book early!
Materials will be provided for free on the day.
